The Math Lab: Math Exploration for Preschoolers

In this ongoing math class, students will dive into a new, hands-on math activity or project each week, exploring fun mathematical concepts in a creative and interactive way! We’ll start each class with a discussion of a math concept and then jump into an activity that helps bring that concept to life. This class is not only educational but also social—students will have the chance to share any math-related discoveries or activities they’ve done throughout the week, encouraging both learning and connection. Materials needed for each class may include printable sheets, common household items, or easily ordered supplies, with a materials list provided one week in advance. Since each week covers a different math concept, every lesson is a standalone experience, making it easy for students to join anytime! This class is a perfect fit for preschoolers gearing up for Kindergarten, giving them a fun, interactive way to get a head start on their math skills!
