Play and learn in the pre readers activity class. Bring your mat to sit, your sand tray, your crayons, your favorite stuffy or friend and learn together. A variety of activities that get us moving and time for rest and follow the leader.

What's included

15 live meetings
3 hrs 45 mins in-class hours
Assignments
1 hour per week. A class recap is delivered at the close of every class with an extended experience suggestion list delivered on the Friday of each week.
Certificate of Completion
Our capstone class will deliver a proprietary learner achievement response of skills performance.

Class Experience

Get ready for learning and develop executive functioning skills through play, song, movement, drawing, storytelling in an environment designed specifically for young learners. Using a variety of engaging resources from matching cards, to hand clapping games, a bring your snack and stuffy day, we will build skills for creating a process for activity, learn participation and sharing, develop fundamental skills of reading, counting, shapes, and sensory play.

Typical schedule:
1) Introduction through speaking or song
2) Organize our space on our mat and camera
3) Manipulative activity using cards, toys, drawing, counting
4) Share out time where participants have the opportunity to practice their words of summary, speaking skills, describing skills, and internalize their class time

It's great to meet you today!
 Learn how to interact with online lessons with the introduction song. We will learn to follow directions, participate in class procedures, build a schedule and anticipate activities, and learn to follow along.

 Bring your favorite stuffy and let's teach them back how our classroom works and everything we have learned.
