Class Experience

US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
In this ongoing outer space science club, students will learn about a different part of our solar system each week. We will learn facts, look at pictures, and complete a hands on experiment or project. Some of our experiments will be completed start to finish during class, others may need some time throughout the week to complete. This class will be very interactive. The students will participate in both structured learning and some socializing as well. At the beginning of each class, students will have an opportunity to share any space facts about that days topic! Materials needed for each class will be items easily found either at a grocery store or from amazon. A materials list will be provided at least one week in advance. Weekly themes are subject to change as we will be following suggestions and interests from the students in the class, at least one week's notice will be given for any changes!

Hello to Everyone! My name is Miss Meghan and I can’t wait to meet your child. I enjoy teaching a variety of classes for preschool and early elementary ages.

I hold a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education. At the beginning of my career, I worked extensively with children with autism in home settings designing programs to help students access the world around them in an empowering way. After my oldest daughter was born, I became a licensed childcare provider creating a home away from home for many children to grow and learn. When my youngest daughter was born, I decided it was time to explore other options and that is how I landed at Outschool. I am so grateful for this opportunity and love meeting new learners from all over the world.

I have a passion for instilling a love of learning in young children through exposure, messy play, and fun! I strongly believe that letting children delve into learning at their own level and allowing for different types of learning styles sets children up for a life long learning journey.

In addition to teaching on Outschool, I also homeschool my two daughters who are my pride and joy. I feel so grateful to have a career that I love that also affords me the opportunity to spend time with my own children as well. In my free time, I enjoy art, brainstorming new lesson ideas, cross stitch, and reading!

I offer science, art, language arts, social studies, math, and social classes for preschool and kindergarten age groups, as well as social groups for neurodivergent! Please feel free to message me with any questions!
