TED Talks on varying topics will be presented as a spring board to engage in critical thinking discussions. These talks expose students to issues that they may not otherwise know much about, exercising their public speaking skills and more.
Class experience
A TEDx Talk is an exposition of speakers presenting great, well-formed ideas in different topics. These talks expose students to an issue that they may not otherwise know much about. This class covers different topics as listed below. Students will watch a TED Talk in class, followed by a discussion. The class has few students because everyone has to speak at least once during class. The teacher will give an introduction and closing remarks with background information when necessary. Week...
