Class Experience
Our bodies are made of more than a millions amazing cells that function as a unit for us to live and thrive. This class helps the students discover what the cell is made of, how it functions as a single unit, the organization from cells -tissues-organs and Organ Systems. By the end of class, a student will be able to identify internal parts of the body (Anatomy)and how they function (Physiology.) This Class is taught by Ms. Janet PA-C, MPH. She is a Physician Assistant who holds a masters in Medicine and in Public Health.
1. There is homework for this class to reinforce each lesson. 2. There is an optional exit quiz after each unit. 3. Printable guiding( fill in the gaps) Notes will be provided. 4. All videos watched in class will be provided to students to rewatch.
Parents can request a letter grade, written report, informal assessment at the beginning of the semester.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
PS: This class will cover male and female reproductive organs in the Reproductive unit. The student will learn how hormones change, guide reproduction.
