Class Experience

Welcome to Swahili for Beginners. This is an Ongoing Class for beginners with no prior background. Anyone can start with phonics and progress with reading comprehension, listening, and communicating with others. The class starts with phonics, which is the foundation, then progresses to salutations, colors, shapes, numbers, and simple phrases.

The goal is to learn how to communicate in Kiswahili. This takes time and practice on the daily. Students will practice with one another during class. They are encouraged to keep practicing outside class too. They will listen to stories and write down simple sentences.
