Students will learn about the different types of fingerprints. We will learn how to make our own fingerprints with materials at home. After students, make their own fingerprints, students will label their fingerprints. Which ones do we have the most or the least? Does everyone have the same kinds of fingerprints. What do people use fingerprints for? We will discuss which kind people have the most of and the least of . I will use slides to teach the class and give directions on how to make the fingerprints. The students will also watch a short video clip of the types of fingerprints. Students will be able to discuss and ask questions during the lesson.

Pencil , index cards or paper, and clear tape ( if you don't have index cards, just have two pieces of paper!)
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I am Teacher Jill! I teach science, art, and math classes! I have taught elementary school for 19 years. I have taught kindergarten, second, third, fourth , and fifth grades. `I have also taught homebound students part-time when my children were young . I still teach in a fifth grade classroom teaching science and social studies. I also have taught ESL on an online program. I love teaching in person and on line. I can't wait to meet your children!
