Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello, my name is Ms. Jenn and I absolutely love everything about reading, language arts, and geography. My goal is always going to be to encourage and inspire students to think deeply about what they are reading, to form opinions, be empowered to vocalize their views, and to engage others in conversations about what they have read. I am a teacher with twelve years of classroom experience in private schools and various homeschool settings. I also have much experience in several childcare environments including camp director. I have tutored privately as well.
I am qualified to teach all subjects but specialize in teaching reading, writing, phonics, phonetic awareness, literature comprehension, geography, and language arts.
I strongly believe in providing young learners with the opportunity to make connections between the material being learned and their own life experiences. I have a Bachelor of Arts with Teaching Reading and Language Arts Emphasis degree as well as a Master of Science in Educational Administration degree.
