✨New to Outschool? Use code TERIDEL20 to save $20 on this class!✨ ***Please note....This class is a fantastic introduction or review of the important spelling rules. Because it is a group class, it cannot be as detailed or student driven as my private one-on-one All About Spelling classes.*** What is All About Spelling? All About Spelling is a multi-sensory approach to mastering spelling. It uses the Gillingham approach, which simplifies the English language by focusing on why words are spelled the way they are. My Experience and Why *I* Use Orton-Gillingham /All About Spelling I am certified teacher. I also used All About Spelling to teach my own children. They were successful because it was multi-sensory, engaging, and made sense to them. Our Class This class is designed for learners that know basic letter sounds. Each week we will learn and practice a new rule. After class, I will provide a summary of what we learned and what the students can practice before our next lesson. I will also provide additional teacher created activities in areas that need extra support. I want them to succeed! What You Will Need Please come to each class with a dry erase board and marker or paper and pencil. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions. The All About Spelling curriculum is referenced and can be used at home to supplement rules being taught in class. This can be found on the website: https://www.allaboutlearningpress.com/all-about-spelling ***Please note...we will NOT be using this curriculum during our class.
