Class Experience

Wackadoo! This is a flexible schedule version of my live Talk & Play with Bluey class. In this 4-week flex course, learners will explore social and emotional learning through imaginative play with Bluey. Each volume of this course will use four episodes of Bluey to teach learners the values in the show, such as friendship, patience, listening, and responsibility. This class is designed to be a fun and engaging Bluey experience! Each video includes an original clip of toy characters from the show that will remind learners of the day's episode and prepare them to think about the themes and lessons of the episode. Questions about the everyday experiences of the Heeler family will help learners engage in thoughtful reflection of the theme and develop their early critical thinking skills. We can not do Bluey without playing! Each video also includes a play-based activity that will inspire creativity and imagination. Think & Play Time with Bluey helps learners develop the skills that promote emotional intelligence, such as recognizing, understanding, labeling, expressing, and regulating emotions. This class is loads of social and emotional Bluey fun. For real life!

There are no live meetings for this course. The class videos and supplementary materials will be posted weekly on Mondays by 9:00 am (EST) for four weeks. You can view the videos at your convenience. Our weekly classroom engagement will consist of optional crafts or activities to share, specific opportunities to post about each episode, and thoughtful ways to take the lessons further at home.

Schedule:
Week 1: Dance Mode: Finding your voice
•	Have a feeling dance party with Bluey’s wheel of feelings and make yes/no button cookies
