Wackadoo! In each meeting, learners will explore social and emotional learning through imaginative play. This talk & play class will use each episode of Bluey to teach learners the values in the show, such as friendship, patience, listening, and responsibility. During discussion time, learners will explore the themes and lessons they discovered in the episode. Then, playtime is when we play “together” in ways that inspire creativity and imagination. We will not be watching episodes of Bluey during the class, but learners can expect to see toy characters from the show. Each meeting will help learners develop the skills that promote emotional intelligence, such as recognizing, understanding, labeling, expressing, and regulating emotions. This class is loads of social and emotional Bluey fun. For real life!
