Class Experience

**I have very limited availability for private sessions. Please reach out to schedule.

This is a private course option that will allow me to create a curriculum from class topics I already teach and adapt them to your child's needs. Each class will be specific to a topic and have an extension activity if requested. I recommend all learners under the age of 6 join my group classes as they tend to be more engaged with other peers in the classroom. If you have a younger child who would benefit from one-on-one I will consider them on a case-by-case basis.

Below are topics I have taught in my most popular ongoing classes on Growth Mindset & Social Skills, Social-Emotional Learning, & Character Building. Please reach out with any questions you have about this private class offering.

Believe – Filling up with affirmations that help us believe in ourselves

It is important for me to understand your learner and your goals for signing up for the class. Please reach out with that information BEFORE the first meeting. If I do not hear from you the first meet up will just be to get to know your learner better and question asking to better understand a path forward.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree in Education from Ferris State University
I have a degree in elementary education and have been working with kids through teaching, coaching, and childcare for over 15 years. I have extensive experience and expertise working with ESL learners. Also, I am raising four children of my own ( ages 5mo, 3, 8 & 11). I am often inspired to create classes that cover subjects I find important in my own parenting journey. I am a lifelong learner and an avid reader. To support my curriculum development I dedicate significant time to reading, listening, and learning about the most current research on child development, teaching, and parenting.
