Description
Class Experience
The goals of this class are to have the students demonstrate his/her knowledge of the human skeleton through measuring their own body and creating a proportional skeleton.
Teacher Dana is a certified science teacher holding a Master's Degree in education. Her range of experience is vast as it spans preschool to high school.

Learners will need the following materials: calculator, scissors, ball of string (students could draw skeleton if need be, but string might be more fun), glue, measuring tape (a simple fabric tape used in sewing will be easiest as student will be measuring his/her own body), a couple of pieces of white paper (2 if no mistakes are made), markers/colored pencils, lead pencil. Student should be able to measure him/herself. If not, someone may need to assist.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Learner is assessed based on their completed project. Grades will only be provided per parent request.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
There will not be any inapproprate material presented during this class.
Sources of information are sciece textbooks used in a typical classroom.
