Class Experience

In this fun, interactive class, students are introduced to code writing through dot codes. Code writing is great for reluctant writers and puzzle-lovers alike! At the beginning of class, students will spend 10-15 minutes learning about the history of dot codes like Braille and Morse code. Then they'll choose from a variety of code-writing activities--some easier and others more challenging. Activities include things like writing your name, writing a letter to a friend, or creating your own picture code. Finally, students who wish to will be able to share their code writing.
