In this English course, learners are given picture prompts to guide them as they develop their own story. Learners will be supported to develop their sentences in English, using new vocabulary and linking their ideas. Suitable for A2/B1 learners. Learners will develop their reading fluency, comprehension skills including knowledge of phonics, vocabulary, guessing meaning of words from context, sharing ideas and developing communication skills. Week of 28/4/25: At School Week of 5/5/25: A Windy Day Week of 12/5/25: In the Playground Week of 19/5/25: No More Ice Cream Week of 26/5/25: Bad Kids Week of 2/6/25: Biking in the Park Week of 9/6/25 - In the Library Week of 16/6/25 - New Found Friend Week of 23/6/25 - In the Garden Week of 30/6/25 - My Teddy Bear Week of 7/7/25 - Field Day Week of 21/7/25 – At the Fair Week of 28/7/25 – At the Beach Week of 4/8/25 – Going for a Picnic Week of 11/8/25 – Time to Study Week of 18/8/25 – The Lost Backpack This class is good preparation for the speaking and writing parts of the Cambridge Flyers, KEY and PET exam. Parental Guidance
Please note, this is an English language class. Our own material are used to teach learners language including, phonics, vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, fluency and writing skills.
Supply List
Learners will need a notebook, pencil and crayons for each class. All materials will be provided for this course.
