Class Experience
Learners will be able to demonstrate effective communication through written writing skills.
Learners will have to work on writing their final drafts of their essays. They will use their rough drafts that were created in each class session to write their final copy of their essays.
Learners will need a paper or note pad and a pencil to write with during the sessions. These can be purchased at the local area Dollar Tree for $1.00 an item or the local Big Lots, Target/Walmart store for under $5.00 depending on where the learner is located.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The learners will be given a rubric score with a letter grade that will indicate that they were able to demonstrate effective essay writings at the end of each week.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
