Class Experience

Brief Description
The 45-minute reading and writing assessment provides a comprehensive evaluation of your literacy skills. This one-time assessment gauges your reading comprehension and writing proficiency through a series of structured tasks designed to highlight your strengths and identify areas for improvement.

Long Description
The 45-minute reading and writing assessment is a meticulously crafted evaluation designed to provide an in-depth understanding of your literacy skills. During this one-time assessment, you will engage in a series of tasks that include reading passages of varying complexity and responding to prompts that test your writing abilities. The reading component assesses your comprehension, analytical skills, and ability to interpret texts, while the writing component evaluates your grammar, coherence, style, and argumentation skills.

Upon completion of the assessment, you will receive a detailed report that includes:

1. Reading Comprehension Score: An evaluation of your ability to understand and analyze written material, including identification of key themes, details, and inferences.

2. Writing Proficiency Score: An assessment of your writing skills, focusing on organization, clarity, grammar, and overall effectiveness of communication.

3. Strengths and Weaknesses Analysis: A breakdown of specific areas where you excel and areas that require improvement, providing a clear roadmap for personal development.

4. Personalized Feedback: Constructive comments and suggestions tailored to your performance, offering practical advice on how to enhance your reading and writing skills.

5. Recommendations for Further Development: Targeted resources and exercises to help you continue improving beyond the assessment.

This comprehensive assessment is an invaluable tool for anyone looking to gain insights into their literacy abilities and to develop their skills further.

Hello! My name is Mrs. JaLes and I am dedicated to proving that learning is effective when kids have the freedom to explore. What do I mean by this? From a early age our kids are learning everything from exploring (touching, engaging, inquiring, investigating, practicing, reassessing, and finally conquering). Then they start school and we add structure and try to make them fit in a box. As a homeschool educator, I challenge my students to live out of the box and achieve greatness by mastering skills based on their learning style and interests. It's truly amazing the facts my kids recall without ever working on memorization and how much improvement in their critical thinking skills I've seen in such a short time.

These are the classes I want to explore with your children!
* Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, & Division Workshops
 * Writing Workshops
 * Reading Skills
 * Master Phonograms
*Spelling

I am currently a homeschool teacher for 2nd/3rd and 7th grader. I earned my Bachelor's of Science Degree from Oral Roberts University. Professionally, I have worked as an corporate trainer and process developer. As you can see, I enjoy teaching others.

I am a ball of eclectic fun. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and vlogging my experience. Overall, I just enjoy living and learning as much as I can. I am excited to meet you and hope to see you in the classroom soon.
