Class Experience
***If you have not taken a class with me, use code "carpenter10" for $10 off your first class with me!*** This is a one time reading assessment and collaboration class that will pinpoint your child's reading and writing struggles. After the assessment, I will provide guidance and a "roadmap" of what and how to help your child succeed in English as well as provide resources that will target the specific skills needed to be successful. I will assess you student's: 1. Overall Reading Level 2. Phonological Awareness and Phonics skills 3. Fluency Level 4. Comprehension skills 5. Any other reading deficits This is not an evaluation to determine any type of learning disabilities. It IS to determine the individual reading level of your child, the specific skills (such as phonics, fluency, or comprehension) they are struggling with, and provide a "roadmap" and resources to help them become successful readers.
Learning Goals
Students will understand what areas in reading they are struggling with and how to improve their reading skills.
