In this one time class students will learn the benefits of using questioning as a tool. They will practice using questions to connect with what they are reading and find textual evidence to support their answers.

Class Experience

Students will understand why asking questions is important.
Students will learn when and how to ask questions.
Students will learn how to use textual evidence to find answers to their questions.  
There will be no homework assigned.  However, by practicing what they learned in class, students will become more proficient and confident applying these skills.  
Please bring a pencil and paper to take notes.
I will be helpful to have post-it notes, and colored pencils or markers.
Progress toward goal will be assessed through informal check out at the end of class.  
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
