Homework
1 hour per week. Completion of class activities if time did not permit for the learner to get all of their ideas on paper. Extension activities will be provided in post-class recap.
Assessment
Feedforward will be delivered in the moment and through class recaps and is designed to take our ideas and interpretations to the next level, capturing more key ideas.

Beginner - Intermediate Level
Get your great ideas off the ground through structure and format. Communicate with more people through structured decision making and the right level of information. This can be achieved by learning the art of outlining. Leave with a capstone portfolio of outlines to help you through any situation the next time structure and organization is needed to solve your problem.

Lesson 1:
Outline structures and features
 Let's look at the task ahead - how do we plan! Choose from a variety of scenarios and see what skills we need to ensure are mastered to build efficient and effective outline. Think roman numerals, heirarchy, title headings and naming nomenclature.

Scenario Choice 1
 We will thread together our skills of reading, listening, writing, organization, and decision making to build a write information in  outline form.

Lesson 3:
Beginning - Middle - End
 Let's make a 3-part outline to write a narrative story.

Lesson 4:
All About the Argument
 Building off of the beginning-middle-end outline, how do we add other information and features to synthesize and share others' opinions.

Handwriting skills at a developing level so we can clearly organize our thoughts and information
