Class Experience

In this highly engaging class, students will learn to read and spell 20 sight words and 4 digraphs. In the class, we practice reading and spelling the sight words through choral response, visual aids (printed words on the screen), and flashcards. During each class, we read an emerging reader together and the child receives printable flashcards, worksheet, and an emerging reader for the week. Each class the students learn 5 new sight words and review the previously learned sight words through...

Students will learn to read and spell 20 sight words.
Students will learn to decode words with digraph sounds of "wh, th, sh, ch"

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
