US Grade Kindergarten - 4
This is a private tutoring class for your child to improve in reading. It can last as little or as long as needed for you child. We will cover any reading standard or concept up to third grade that your child may need help with. Examples of reading concepts include, but are not limited to, help with fluency, phonics, blending, phonemic awareness, comprehension, and vocabulary. I will use a combination of research-based teaching methods, games, and outside of class practice to help your child...
To ensure effective tutoring, the teacher suggests meeting 2x per week. Book additional recurring meetings after the initial purchase.- 5 years of in person classroom experience - Certified in Elementary Education and as a Reading Specialist
Assessment
Frequency: includedDetails: Students will be assessed during the first meeting to determine a learning plan. Afterwards, assessments will be administered monthly to track students' progress. The assessments may include reading fluency, oral word reading, comprehension skills, spelling and grammar, phonemic awareness and/ or phonics skills depending on a students' specific learning goals.
