In these one-on-one sessions, your student will strengthen their reading skills through practice. I'll have a variety of books for your student to read, including books that my son and daughter loved when they were little. I'll kindly help students sound out difficult words phonetically, and we'll pause every so often to talk about the story together. Students will strengthen their reading skills by practicing, and they will further develop their love of books.
I have helped children practice reading as a daycare teacher, school volunteer, and parent. I have worked with children for over thirty years. I have a Bachelor's degree in Child and Family Studies and took many education classes for this degree. Three of those classes were Early Childhood Education, Emergent Literacy, and Early Childhood Curriculum.
Please let me know if there is any content you would not like your children to read. I will choose books accordingly.
