The model for this course is based on the reading classes that I offer as a group. Students will improve their reading ability, expand their vocabulary, learn to spell English words and learn to talk about and discuss what they are reading.
Teacher Expertise: I hold a B.S. in Psychology, a Master's Degree in Education, and a Ph.D. in Education. I am a licensed k-8 teacher, a licensed Reading Specialist, and a certified ESL teacher. Throughout my life, I have taught children, adults, and my child. I have worked as a tenured education professor, an elementary teacher, a reading specialist, and an ESL teacher. I love to read, and I love to work with children. I am delighted to be teaching on the Outschool platform, and I look forward to working with you and your child.
