Class Experience

~Welcome to Ms. Jodi's Waldorf Classroom~

Enter the world of Waldorf education, gifting your child with a relaxed, beautiful space to grow in reading skills while receiving an elite private school education at home!

In this private guided reading course, I work 1:1 with students on phonics, reading comprehension, multisyllabic words, and grammar skills through beautiful stories, drawing, and writing work. I work with beginning, struggling, grade level, or gifted readers, helping students to feel confident and to love reading.

Come and join me for a private reading session that will include books for your individual child's interests... dogs, cats, horses, holidays, superheroes, dinosaurs, princesses, mythological creatures... as I work to find books that work with your student's interests and reading level to keep them feeling successful, peaceful, and happy with reading.

In all of my classes, I use evidence-based strategies that work for all students including those with reading difficulties and dyslexia. I keep children engaged and excited to participate throughout the lesson. For older learners, I will assess a student's reading level in our first session and work from there. We will read stories, answer comprehension questions, draw as a pre-writing activity, write sentences and read what we write.

This class is perfect for a Waldorf homeschooler or a Waldorf student who would like to supplement or families looking to learn using Waldorf methods (whether struggling or advanced).

Please reach out to me with a day/time that works for you if you do not see one listed.

Unique learners, homeschoolers, and unschoolers are welcome.
