1 hour per week. Learners will receive verbal feedback during each class based on their participation, pronunciation, and use of new vocabulary. Progress is monitored through conversation performance and comprehension. No written homework is required, though optional practice ideas may be offered after class. Feedback is provided live in a supportive, encouraging format during class, with optional written summaries available upon request. This live conversation class is the real deal — a fun, relaxed space where teens can practice speaking Portuguese with a native speaker and finally feel confident using it in real life. 💬✨ Each class is led by Ms. Lambert, a native Portuguese speaker, experienced educator, and fluent communicator who brings warmth, flexibility, and structure to every session. No pressure, no tests — just real conversations that help teens feel seen, heard, and capable. We focus on meaningful, everyday topics like: 👋 Introducing yourself 🗺️ Asking for directions 🍽️ Ordering food or shopping 🧍♂️ Naming body parts 👨👩👧 Talking about family 🪑 Describing your space Lessons are visual, interactive, and tailored to your learner’s pace and interests. From fun facts to slang to cultural tidbits, teens get more than just grammar — they get the confidence to connect. Learning Goals

I am a native Portuguese speaker with professional fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. I was born in Brazil and raised in a multilingual household, which shaped my passion for language and cross-cultural communication.
I have over 10 years of experience working with children, teens, and adults in educational and creative settings. On Outschool, I teach Portuguese classes that focus on conversation, confidence-building, and cultural connection. I’ve also taught acting, creative expression, and writing — always with an inclusive, student-centered approach.
My teaching style is gentle, responsive, and encouraging. I love helping students feel seen, supported, and empowered to express themselves, especially in a new language. Whether they’re learning for travel, family, or fun, I meet them where they are and help them grow from there.
