1 hour per week. Learners will receive informal, personalized feedback during class to help improve their Portuguese vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational confidence. I observe each learner’s participation, comprehension, and comfort level, and adapt my pacing and support accordingly. Learners are encouraged to ask questions, try new words out loud, and engage at their own pace. I foster a supportive, non-judgmental environment so every learner feels safe taking language risks. Parents may message me at any time to request updates on their learner’s progress, participation, or engagement. While no grades or written evaluations are given, I am happy to summarize strengths, growth areas, and ways learners can continue practicing between sessions.Assessment
While this is a conversational, beginner-level class, learners will receive informal assessment through live feedback during class activities. I monitor pronunciation, vocabulary use, comprehension, and participation, and adjust pacing as needed. If a learner needs extra support or is ready for more challenge, I incorporate modifications in real-time. Parents are welcome to request individual feedback after any class via private message, and I’m happy to summarize strengths, progress, or areas to review. There is no homework assigned, but learners are encouraged to review vocabulary after class and apply it in conversation when possible.Class Experience

We also highlight cultural differences, idioms, and curiosities to make language learning meaningful and fun. 🎨 My Teaching Style Each class blends visuals, guided conversation, repetition, and student interaction. Learners may also practice writing or reading short phrases. I love incorporating curious cultural facts, age-appropriate comparisons, and learner interests into each lesson—your learner is welcome to suggest themes! 📣 Need an informal assessment? I offer on-the-spot feedback in class or by parent request via private message. 📌 Note: We do not offer refunds for missed classes. Refunds are only issued if the teacher cancels class. Please try your best to attend regularly so your learner can make progress and connect with peers.
