My First Portuguese Language Class

A career that started in Behavioral and Developmental Psychology evolved through teaching and neurodivergent program management. I also stepped & into International corporate Human Resources, Risk Administration & Compliance Management.

While working around the world I have witnessed first hand the profound impact a-typical education can have in our communities.

The challenges & successes of each ignited my passion to pair servant leadership with innovative strategy,
programs, and best practices designing a teaching philosophy to help individuals grow and thrive in any economical, political, or social climate.

I teach core pre-k and Elementary courses, language courses, political science and world studies, social and emotional health and stability, and Mixed Martial Arts.

A Pittsburgh native (Lets.Go.Pens) Kara now resides in South Eastern United States where she enjoys surfing, yoga, and anything she and her son can do outdoors/on the water or you can find her at her MMA gym where she is a level 3 trained Krav Maga and purple belt Brazilian Jiu Jitsu fighter.
