Class Experience

US Grade 5 - 8
Some kids hate reading because it's "boring" and others hate reading because it's "hard." If you feel like getting your kid to read is like getting into the boxing ring, then let Ms. Rae help you take off those gloves without giving up the fight.

This course uses Read Naturally, an online learning platform focused on helping readers improve their phonics skills and become stronger at decoding words when reading.

By meeting 3 days a week students can get intensive support to boost their reading skills, grow their confidence, and learn to enjoy reading.

This class is ideal for:
- students who struggle with big words when reading
- students who avoid new words when reading
- students who read but are unable to recall what they read
- students who read but big words but do not understand the story and the relationship between those words and the story.

Note:
While Read Naturally has a homeschool version, the teacher assisted program offers a more support that can allow students to progress in their reading improvement at a faster pace.
