Animals, favourite characters, famous artists, or basic art theory, students can choose the theme of what they like and want to explore in this private art class! This class will be fun and interactive, letting students enhance their fine motor skills, expand creativity, explore art materials, and enjoy Art! This class will run in a one-on-one format, allow children to better engage with the teacher, help them build up confidence, increase their resilience, communication skills and much more! Students can inform me about what they would like to do before class. So that Ms. Povis will prepare the lesson according to their requests! *Class time arrangement is base on request. Please feel free to message me to find a suitable time for your children!

Teacher expertise and credentials
I am an art teacher working with preschoolers and elementary children, hosting art workshops that range from drawing and painting to exploring famous artists. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Design from Canada and completed a practical course in Teaching Art in Primary Schools in Hong Kong. My teaching experience spans various art centers and an international school.
Inspired by Picasso's famous quote, “Every child is an artist,” I believe every child has talent in art and just needs encouragement to keep exploring and trying. As a self-described “kidult,” I also enjoy cartoons, manga, and pursuing illustration and embroidery as personal hobbies. There are so many possibilities in my classes—join me for a creative and fun experience!
