Your child will be exposed to the artist Paul Klee through a read aloud of children's book inspired by him, "The Cat and The Bird". Following the read aloud and discussion, we will utilize The Four Stages of Critique to examine Paul Klee's art, "Cat and Bird". The critique will have your child describing, analyzing, interpreting and deciding about a piece of art using art vocabulary. Lastly, we will complete a how to drawing inspired by Klee's style and add color using oil pastels. We will examine blending and color techniques as well. My class is a one time, live-55 minute class that brings in a variety of resources and wealth of knowledge packed into this class. My class is interactive, engaging and supportive.

If your child is not able to sit independently, I ask that you sit with them during the guided drawing portion of the lesson to support them.
