In this 10 week course, we will be exploring a different animal that lives in the ocean each week. The explorers will see real photos of the animals, short video clips, learn their basic anatomy, and fun facts about the things they eat, and their behaviors. During the class, each explorer will have a chance to share their knowledge or encounters with these animals and ask questions. This class is perfect for children who want to see what lives in the ocean or want to learn more about the many ocean animals they can already identify. Below, I have listed the animals we will be exploring each week. Schedule for the 10 weeks: Week 1 - How many Oceans are there? Week 2 - Coral Reefs Week 3 - Animals of the deep Week 4- Starfish Week 5 - Sharks Week 6 - Jellyfish Week 7 - Sea Turtles Week 8 -Crab Week 9 - Whales and Dolphins Week 10 - Octopus We will end each class with one of the following fun activities: a game, story, or step by step drawing to help them review, and use the new information we discussed in class.
