US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
In this one time class, the children will learn all about bunnies. They will have many opportunities to practice turn-taking, and socialization with their peers by discussing facts, viewing real bunny pictures, answering questions, and sharing information or short stories about their bunny encounters. We will label the parts of a bunny (ears, tail, teeth, legs), colors they can be, habitats, and some fun facts ( Do you know how far or high a bunny can jump?). The learners will also each have a few chances to play "Feed the Bunny" to learn what bunnies can and cannot eat. At the end of class the children will learn to draw a bunny using a heart shape!

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have been teaching for the last 27 years in a variety of settings. I have worked with children 3 to 12 years of age. I have created curriculum for 3-6 year old's, tutored, been a nanny, an assistant director, assistant teacher for early learners in the school district, and taught English (ESL) online. I have a BA in Early Childhood Education and a BA in Psychology. I love to find creative ways for children to learn and have fun! I believe children learn best through a variety of means including: repetition, writing, movement, creativity, socialization, fun, and a positive attitude. If I do not know the answer to a child's question, I will research it and let them know. Knowledge is a powerful tool that can create a spark for future learning and life adventures. I can not wait to have fun teaching and learning from your little ones! See you in the classroom!
