During this 1 time class, Note-Taking Made Easy, students will explore different ways they can take notes. Writing down things is one way to transfer the material to the brain and make you remember things easier. The first part of the class we will be discussing my favorite ways to take notes. Next, we will discuss 4 different methods that the students can use to take notes in their classes. Last, the students will practice using some of these methods. The students will take a deeper look into 4 of my favorite ways to take notes: -Bullet Point Method -Mapping Method -Outline Method -The Split-Page Method The students will also explore some of my favorite ways to take notes: -paraphrasing, highlighting information, staying organized, color coding, using abbreviations, post it notes, drawing pictures etc.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their understanding of note-taking. They will learn to feel more confident about their ability to jot down the information being taught to them. This is make studying the material a better experience for them.Other Details
