Class Experience
A first small-group ukulele lesson for young students who are new to the instrument. No prior ukulele or music experience is needed. This is a perfect class for complete beginners! I am a certified music educator with a M.A in Music & Music Education. I fell in love with the ukulele over a decade ago, and have been playing and teaching it ever since. I have been teaching group ukulele classes for 10 years. I also have taught private music lessons for 15 years. I love this instrument and specialize in teaching beginning instrumental music lessons to young beginners. The ukulele is a happy instrument, so my goal is to make learning the ukulele fun and frustration-free.

Frequency: includedFeedback: includedDetails: Students are encouraged to continue practicing strumming, naming the parts of the ukulele, the C chord, and the song "Starlight, Starbright" or "Row Your Boat" after our class.
Learners must have their own tune-able ukulele (4 strings). A soprano, tenor, or concert ukulele is required for this class. Ukuleles must be tuned before the start of class (parents please assist with this). An electric tuner or tuner app should be used to tune the ukulele. A link to the song that we learn will be sent to you after class so learners can continue to practice it.
