In this lesson, the students will learn how to multiply 1, 2, and 3-digit numbers using multiple strategies.  Students in this class should know the multiplication facts. 

The lesson will begin with a review of the multiplication facts. Next, the vocabulary words factors and products will be identified and defined. Then using the Zoom whiteboard I will model how to solve multiplying by multiple digits partial products, base ten models, the area model, and the standard algorithm using the I do, we do, you do strategy. The students will then solve problems on the whiteboard and on paper to show understanding of the skill.  In this lesson, the students will interact with me using the Zoom whiteboard.
Learning Goals
The goal for this lesson is for the students to multiply by 2 digits using place value and regrouping.
