Multi-Day Tutoring--Reading, Writing or Math 1:1 Private Tutor

In this one-on-one private, I will support your learner by using research based intervention teaching strategies that I have been trained on over the many years of teaching. This is class extended over many weeks so we can meet frequently with a start day and end day that fits your schedule.  Below are just a few of the most common areas of struggle that I can support your learner with. However, with my length of experience AND the variety of grade levels, I can be prepared to help most any academic need in grades Kindergarten through sixth grade.  This is a private class designed to be very specific to your learner’s academic needs. Prior to the class YOU tell ME what areas of learning they need to strengthen on. Reading, Writing, Math and more!  This is a multi-day class. Please notify me of the concepts your learner needs support with, twenty-four hours prior to class starting. READING:
-decoding to read words 
-building fluency
- comprehension strategies (inferences, main idea, summary, text evidence support, etc.)

MATH
-addition and subtraction with regrouping
-multiplication facts
-multiplying two and three digit numbers 
-division of three and four digit numbers
-fractions
-decimals

WRITING:
-grammar
-organization
-sentence structure
-opinion, informational, persuasive, (writing genres)
-vocabulary 

Though these are the most common concepts that learners struggle to perform, I can support your learner with any concept and am certified to teach  kindergarten through sixth grade. So message me and tell me, prior to class, what areas your learner struggles with and I design a plan that includes research-based interventions to address those areas of concern.
