Middle School Math Skills - You Got This! was created using curriculum for grades 6-8 and is a good prerequisite for Pre-Algebra. The bulk of the material in this class deals with the Number Sense skills which form the foundation for all future math classes. Geometry, Algebra, Expressions, Equations, and Functions standards are also covered. Classes are taught by a Credentialed math teacher with over 20 years teaching experience. This course prepares students to be mathematically literate as well as preparing them for future math courses including Pre-Algebra. Students will have plenty of opportunity to ask questions throughout class. This class will meet for two 30 minutes sessions each week. This class is "ongoing" which means that students can join for the entire 19 week course or can join for specific topics as needed. This format gives parents flexibility without having to commit to an entire year long course. Classes are charged weekly and you can enroll or withdraw at anytime.
