"Lesson Practice" - We will complete the lesson practice problems together during class each week. The "Lesson Practice" covers the material from the Lesson. I will teach concepts from the lesson and we will work on the practice problems together to get a better understanding of those concepts. "Mixed Practice" - Learners should complete at least odd problems for homework. Saxon scaffolds upon previous lessons, so completing these problems is important. Learners or guardians should check the answers in the "Solutions Book". "Tests" - Guardians should check the answers using the "Solutions book". "Fact Quizzes" - Fact quizzes should be completed with each lesson. "Investigations" - These should be completed as intended. "Topics" - These should be completed as intended. "Supplemental" problems - These are found at the back of the big book for additional problems. They can be completed as needed for additional practice. These will not be reviewed unless a learner requests a specific question.Class Experience

Guardians should let me know if they would like to be aware of participation (or lack of participation), video on/off, etc, in class. Camera/Video: I prefer the camera to be on the entire class time so that I can see from their facial expressions if they are understanding the concepts or not. With video off, if the learner is not replying, I do not know if they are confused or distracted. I prefer video on with all of my math courses, but it is not required. Refund Policy: All of my semester courses are set at “moderate” refund policy. Full refund until a week in advance, or within 24 hours of purchase. Then 75% refund within the first week (of the first class). I will give homework suggestions and encourage learners to grade work so they can see what mistakes they made and learn from their mistakes. I love math and making it simple for learners!
