Description

Class Experience

They will learn how to learn and practice math problems of any type they are struggling with.
As a recent graduate of the Biological Physics program at Simon Fraser University, I have taken countless math courses and have used algebra specifically in every math and physics course I took whether it be manipulating equations involving the laws of physics and biological models, or whether it be modeling how much gas money would be saved if you drove from your house to the cheaper gas station using only variables so you can plug in any value you want afterwards. Everything can be modeled by math and algebra is one of the most solid foundations for understanding how the world works.
There will not be scheduled homework made by the teacher; however, recommendations may be given on which types of practice problems to focus on while without the tutor may be given.
A white board may be useful but pencil/pen and paper works fine too.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
2 hours per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
