In this 8 week unit study students will read 2-3 chapters before each class. We will have mid week check-ins(optional) and students will participate in comprehension questions and Blooket Homework.

Students will learn to take turns in discussion with teacher and peers, work as a group and strengthen independent reading time.
Reading outside of class is encouraged.
A copy of Matilda in audio or written format. Check your local library for a copy. Pencil, crayons, paper are suggested for this class. We will be creating an anchor chart as a class and student will have the option to create one for themseleves.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
We will be discussing and referencing the novel Matilda by Rohl Dahl.
