US Grade 3 - 5
Beginner Level
In this asynchronous course, students will understand and master equivalent fractions through interactive lessons, practical exercises, engaging activities, and real-world applications. Our "Master Math" courses are made for enhancing math skills and boosting confidence. Course Format: This course contains three lessons. Each lesson begins with an overview of the objectives for the class. Next, the concepts are taught and explored through clear, easy-to-follow instruction and presentation material. All pre-recorded videos include practice questions. Students are given the opportunity to pause the video and work the problem independently, then continue the video for the answers. At the end of the video, students are presented with an optional challenge problem to work on after class. The answers to the challenge problems are revealed in the subsequent lesson. This course should take approximately 2 hours to complete. Each lesson has one 15-minute video and practice problems. For PDF homework worksheets, learners should print the worksheet or copy the questions on a separate piece of paper. Once completed, learners can post an image of their completed work in the classroom. Although I always try to respond to learner and parent messages right away, please allow up to 24 hours for a response, and up to 3 business days for homework feedback and/or corrections. This class is best for any student ages 9-12, or those students looking to learn, practice or review equivalent fractions. Students do not need to know the concepts or topics of the class beforehand. We will learn, practice and review in class.
