Then learners dive into a creative Minecraft build challenge that brings the concept to life. They’ll finish each class by sharing and discussing their creations. ✨ What Makes This Class Stand Out Visual Math Learning: Geometry, algebra, and percents become hands-on and exciting. Creative Challenges: Every build reinforces a real math concept. STEM Meets Fun: Students develop both math and design thinking skills. Peer Learning: Weekly sharing sessions promote public speaking, critical thinking, and confidence. ⏰ Class Structure (50 minutes): Warm-Up & Mini-Lesson (5–10 mins) Build & Explore Session (35–40 mins) Showcase & Reflection (10 mins) 🎓 Teaching Style I combine step-by-step instruction with open-ended creativity. Students are encouraged to think critically, test ideas, and express their understanding through their builds. Math becomes something they create, not just calculate.
Learning Goals
Learners will strengthen problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Learners will visualize and apply core math concepts through building.
