Class Experience

US Grade 3 - 6
Beginner - Intermediate Level
Through the guided drawing process, students will learn how to use pencil shading techniques.

My teaching style involves breaking the process down into smaller, easy-to-follow steps.

My classes are intended to be fun, informative, and a safe place to take artistic risks and make mistakes--that is experimentation, which artists do all the time!

More detailed information regarding this class can be found in the syllabus.

As a licensed art teacher, I have developed techniques for breaking down drawing lessons into simple, easy-to-follow steps. Once we get the basics done, I give my students freedom to complete their project using their own imagination, thereby giving them the opportunity to take what I have taught them to a different, fun and creative level.
