Class Experience

Attention all video game lovers! This class is for beginners who have basic computer skills and feel comfortable with a mouse and keyboard and finding different menus in a program. While anyone can join I would recommend taking one of my beginner classes such as how to build a rocket to become more familiar with Blender's interface and how to navigate in 3D space as those courses are much slower paced.

This is an ongoing weekly class where we practice making cool art for video games. This class uses a free 3D modeling software program called Blender. Students will learn new tips, tricks, and concepts every class while making something cool for a video game as they practice and learn 3D modeling.

3D modeling is used to create all the creatures, characters, and environments we see in video games and animated movies. This class is for beginners and students who have some 3D modeling knowledge and want to practice their skills. You can jump in at any time as we will make a new creation every week.

Hi, my name is Christopher Walls.

I believe learning should be fun, interactive, and engaging. Classes should be hands-on.

I am a professional 3D modeler and teach ESL online. I have been working as a 3D modeler for over 13 years. I work for a company that makes air traffic control simulators. I get to make video games that train and educate people I love it so much. I have always had a passion for video games and making cool things I am excited to share my knowledge with others who want to make cool things.

I have been working with kids in some capacity for most of my life. I have worked as a summer camp counselor for over 10 years. In college I volunteered at a local high school where I taught students how to use photoshop, make websites and 3D models. I have 3 years of experience teaching online as an English teacher to foreign students.

I graduated from the University of Central Florida (2005) with a BA in Digital Media and a Masters Degree (2007) in Modeling and Simulation.
