Sally sells seashells by the seashore. Can you say this famous tongue twister 5 times fast?! In this class, we will brainstorm words that start with the same letter or use the same sounds (alliteration & assonance). After having our word list, we will create short tongue twisters. The learners can practice perfecting their tongue twister, and then be prepared to ask their family and friends to give it a try. The more learners, the more tongue twisters we can create together! There will be an opportunity to copy your favorite tongue twister, and they will be posted in the classroom to copy or remember after the class is over.

I love to teach in any capacity: especially reading, writing and grammar classes.
Teaching is my passion! I have been teaching for 23 years everything from early childhood to college & adults. Not only have I taught in elementary schools, but I have been homeschooling my children for the past 12 years and working in several homeschool coops as well. For my career, I teach English as a Second Language to adults.
I am very familiar with the ins and outs of the English language, from the basics of phonics & reading to college writing, and everything in between! (Like past participles 😄) My philosophy of education is that every child can learn! I would love to work with your child and help them succeed!
