Let's Talk Horses!
In this 4 week course, students will be introduced to all things horses. Each week will focus on another aspect of horses and horse ownership. Students will have an opportunity to also share their experiences as we talk all things horses!

US Grade 3 - 6
Students will learn and explore different aspects of horses. Week one will include an introduction to horse breeds and parts of the horse; week two will be about horse colors and markings; week three will be about riding horses and other horse sports; and week four will be about grooming and horse care. Students will participate in nteractive presentations, discussions, online games, video clips and even some stretching/exercises in week three. Students will be given the opportunity to share their experiences or ideas through discussion or collaboration board. I encourage all participation and will provide extra support when needed. As a school teacher, I try to incorporate a variety of learning styles into my lessons including hands on opportunities when possible. Class will be 55 minutes and learners need to have no prior knowledge or experience.
Learning Goals
Students will learn about horse anatomy, breeds, colors and markings, riding and other equestrian sports and horse care and maintenance.
