In this class, learners will practice their counting skills by counting objects from 1 - 10. Students will engage with group counting, and even have the chance to count some of the objects independently (out loud) if they wish! Learners will practice finger counting to help with numerical understanding. We will identify a variety of animals / objects as we go through this lesson (ocean animals, space, Mario, dinosaurs and more...) and count them from 1-10. Students will then write the correct number of objects on their scavenger hunt sheet. I will post the scavenger hunt sheet to the classroom at least one hour before class time. If you do not have a printer or are unable to print the sheet that is okay- your child can still participate in most of the class (you can bring a pencil and paper and write down the number instead). Please note, this class may run between 15 and 20 minutes depending on the amount of students enrolled.
