Bienvenidos! Welcome! In this class, students will meet once to learn a variety of new Spanish vocabulary, questions, and sentence frames. Through interactive activities, drawing, and games, they will learn how to identify different pets in Spanish (turtles, rabbits, cats, dogs) and count 0-5. Please view "Learning Goals" for specifics regarding the vocabulary, sentence frames, and grammar that will be learned in this class, and feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns....
By the end of this course students will be exposed to the following concepts, vocabulary and sentence frames: ANIMAL VOCABULARY 1) Conejo- rabbit 2) Gato- cat 3) Perro- dog 4) Tortuga- turtle NUMBERS-NUMEROS 0-5 QUESTIONS & SENTENCE FRAMES: "Qué es?- What is it? "Es un/a...."- It is a....
TEACHER QUALIFICATIONS: 1) Language or Education Background (Bachelors Degree and/or Teaching Certificate) 2) Native or Fluent Speaker 3) 5+ Years of Experience Working With Youth 4) Have Travelled or Lived in a Country or Territory Where Language is Spoken. 5) Believe in Creating an Inclusive and Welcoming Environment For All Students to Learn
Please have your child bring a piece of paper and something to draw with to class. If time allows at the end of class we will complete a drawing activity to reinforce the new vocabulary.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
