In this semester-long class, students will learn Spanish through interaction with other learners and a native Spanish speaker.

Beginner Level
This class is taught in English.
Students will gain a strong grasp of using "y" and "pero" effectively in Spanish sentences.
Students will master the vocabulary and grammar associated with talking about locations and times of day in Spanish.
Students will learn to express concepts of time such as "when," "before," and "after" in Spanish.
Students will develop the skills to engage in polite conversations and discuss hypothetical scenarios.
Students will understand the usage and conjugation of verbs related to taste and smell.
Students will explore the usage and conjugation of verbs related to communication and teaching.
Students will become proficient in using verbs related to studying and engage in journal writing.
Students will understand the concept of reflexive verbs and their usage in daily life.
Students will be able to describe daily routines and the states of things using appropriate vocabulary.
Students will learn how to express cause and effect relationships in Spanish.
Students will master vocabulary related to places in a town or city.
Students will develop reading skills by engaging in a Spanish reading activity.
Students will gain confidence in conversational Spanish by practicing with peers.
The teacher is a native Spanish speaker from Puerto Rico and has a Master's degree in Second Language Education.
Homework Offered
Homework assignments will be a regular part of most classes, primarily focusing on straightforward writing and sentence construction exercises. I will provide worksheets and flashcards to assist students in their learning journey.

At the start of each lesson, we'll begin with a brief recap to ensure comprehension of the material covered in the previous class.
Grades Offered
Students will NEED a notebook dedicated to this class. In this notebook, they will be able to keep their writing practice. Students will also use this notebook during class for other drawing or writing activities.
